PHIL BRYANT ANNOUNCES 'ACCOUNTABILITY AGENDA'
(Jackson, Miss.)- Because Mississippians deserve a Lt. Governor
with strong ethics, proven leadership, conservative values and achievable
goals, today Phil Bryant announced an 'Accountability Agenda' that outlines
some of the key issues that he will address as Lt. Governor.
"While I've been talking about many of these proposals throughout
this campaign, today I'm announcing my 'Accountability Agenda' to outline
some of the key issues that I plan to address as Lt. Governor," said
Phil Bryant. "Whether the issue is stopping illegal immigration,
fighting crime, improving education or strengthening Mississippi's ethics
laws, all of these issues come down to the need for more accountability."
The 'Accountability Agenda' is comprised of a list of goals and proposals
categorized into the following topics:
* Strengthening Mississippi's Ethics and Accountability Laws
* Stopping Illegal Immigration
* Fighting Crime and Protecting Our Communities
* Strengthening Families and Promoting Traditional Values
* Improving Education Today and Tomorrow
* Expanding Economic Opportunities for All Mississippians
