Political Columnist Bill Minor Reveals The Democrats' Wishes
In his column in the Friday, July 27 issue of the Clarion-Ledger,
Political Columnist Bill Minor revealed the Democrats' wishes for the outcome
of the Republican Primary Election for Lt. Governor. Writing about Charlie
Ross, he stated "Democrats would rather have him to face in the November
general election."
Phil Bryant Can Win
In November
It's a fact-Phil Bryant is the only candidate for Lt. Governor
who has experience winning statewide general election campaigns. After
being appointed State Auditor by Governor Kirk Fordice in 1996, Phil was
elected to the position in 1999 and re-elected in 2003 by winning 81 of
the 82 counties in Mississippi. That shows Phil's proven ability and experience
in winning general elections-and it is further evidence that Phil Bryant
is the Republican who can win in November.
